Singapore Halloween 2026: DJs, Live Music and a Heartbreak-Themed Market

From a multi-venue art and music night to costumes and a heartbreak-themed market, F ZINE’s community spent Halloween across Singapore’s creative scene.

Singapore Halloween 2026: DJs, Live Music and a Heartbreak-Themed Market

Halloween in Singapore brought together live music, club nights, film and art, with F ZINE’s community moving between events and making room for costume play along the way. The evening’s appeal was its range: some people took on several DJ sets, while others gathered for a gig, a group exhibition or a film before heading out to dance.

Here’s how seven people marked October 31, from a market built around heartbreak stories to a night of murals, bands and pop-culture costumes.

Art and music across multiple venues

Melia Raine, 28, marketing and events, started the Saturday with an early set at Arkive alongside Mr Legume. Shutter Rhythms programmed the music. She then went to Mystic Night, where Song, Wolfsloth and Cosmicchai took over 7 Ann Siang Hill, spanning Arkive and The Coup.

Installations connected art, lifestyle and nightlife across the venues, giving visitors something to explore beyond the music. Raine noted that the exhibition continued until November 7, so the work could still be seen after opening night. She finished at The Coup for Bassment Bounce, with Revision’s Gahmen, Halia RTJ, Helios XL and Kiat, powered by Upperserangoonsoundsystem and The Coup. It was a full itinerary, but one that joined a club night with a longer-running exhibition.

Gabriel De Souza, 37, artist, also brought art into the night. He presented a group exhibition with two artist friends and painted murals across the facade of Arkive Store. The display turned the venue itself into part of the experience, with the building’s exterior carrying the work into the surrounding street.

Costumes with a personal touch

Renee, 26, dance instructor, went as one of the Dimitrescu sisters from Resident Evil 8 with her friends. A friend drew the marks on their foreheads by hand, using eyeliner. It’s a simple detail, but one that made the group’s costumes feel considered and collaborative. Their look drew on a recognisable game character while keeping the preparation personal.

Mila Bea, 18, singer-songwriter, spent the evening dressing up with her closest friends. Their trio represented Björk, Marceline the Vampire Queen and Princess Bubblegum. The mix of a real-life musician and animated characters made the group costume its own small pop-culture mash-up. Bea has previously appeared in F ZINE’s feature on young indie rock singer Mila Bea.

Film first, then the dance floor

Qilah Rose, 27, actor and content creator, began at Filmhouse, where she and a friend watched Teenage Sex And Death At Camp Miasma. Rose called it “very camp” and recommended it. After the screening, they went to Baby Boy’s Halloween party at Hard Rock Cafe. She danced through the night, even if her feet were feeling it by the end.

That sequence gave the night a clear shape: a film screening to start, then a party that carried on late. Rose’s account suggests the appeal wasn’t only the event itself, but the chance to build a Halloween outing from different parts of the city’s creative calendar.

Parties, gigs and a market for heartbreak stories

Chael En, 27, DJ, played at three parties on Halloween night. Moving between them kept the schedule busy, but also meant meeting new people and dancing to some favourite tracks. For a DJ, that kind of night puts the focus on momentum: each stop offers a different crowd and a fresh set of sounds.

Isaac Wong, 27, community events organiser and DJ, organised a heartbreak-themed market as Proximities, where he heard plenty of horror stories about dating. After the market, he headed to Baby Boy’s party at Hard Rock. The pairing gave his Halloween a change of pace: conversation and market browsing first, then a night of music and dancing.

Blush, previously featured in F ZINE’s story on young Singapore musicians, marked the night with a gig at Wire Entertainment. The band shared the bill with Redreverie, Swoon!, Slump and Forests. For the group, dressing up alongside the other musicians was part of the fun, making the performance feel like a shared occasion rather than a standard gig.

Across these plans, Halloween worked as a flexible excuse to connect music, art, film and friends. The standout details were personal: eyeliner-drawn costume marks, a market that invited stories, and a night that could stretch from an exhibition to a dance floor. For anyone planning a similar evening, the community’s examples make a case for choosing one anchor event and letting the rest of the night follow.
