Stylist Trend Sessions Brings 2027 Fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle Ideas to Hoxton

Coat styling, brain health as a beauty theme, olive oil tasting and a renewed interest in letter writing are among the ideas on the agenda at Stylist Trend Sessions. The member event brings the Stylist team’s predictions for 2027 into five themed rooms, with practical activities designed to make the trends easier to explore.

It takes place at art’otel Hoxton on 13 and 14 November, with four separate sessions across the two days. Each session follows the same programme, so members can choose a time that fits their diary. Tickets cost £30 and are available to Stylist VIP members, with sales opening on 1 October.

Five rooms, five ways into next season’s ideas

The experience begins with an intimate celebrity interview. Guests then split into small groups and rotate through five spaces, where editors and participating brands introduce the themes through styling, tasting and hands-on activities.

The Fashion Room

Stylist’s fashion editors will preview catwalk ideas they expect to shape the next season, then turn the focus to winter coats. The team will bring a rail with a range of shapes and sizes, offering guests the chance to try different cuts and get advice from Stylist experts. The useful detail here is the fit: comparing silhouettes in person can help clarify which coat works with someone’s wardrobe and preferences before they choose what to buy.

The Wellness Room

Here, the editors will look at brain health as a beauty conversation expected to attract more attention in 2027. Precision Biotics is supporting the session and will provide supplements for guests to take home. A separate 30-minute session with The Sound Therapist is described as a relaxing brain-cleaning experience. The programme frames this as a chance to pause and take part in a guided session; it does not specify a particular method or make claims about health outcomes.

The You Room

Analogue living is the focus, presented as a form of luxury for 2027. Guests will be invited to put pen to paper with Papier and try letter writing, part of a revival the event expects to grow next year. It’s a tactile counterpoint to the screen-heavy habit of doomscrolling: the activity is simple, social and centred on making something by hand.

The Food Room

Instead of a wine tasting, the session puts olive oil in the spotlight, pairing it with food alongside experts from Citizens of Soil. The event also makes a case for bringing olive oil as a dinner gift. Every ticket holder will receive a bottle of Extra Rare olive oil, valued at £40, in their goody bag.

The Micro Trend Room

This drop-in space offers a closer look at smaller trends shaping the season, with mini pampering treatments from brands including Lush Cosmetics and 20a Aromatherapy. Each VIP will also receive an individually wrapped mystery book, so the title is a surprise. Guests who have yet to book a 2027 holiday can enter a draw for a seven-night all-inclusive stay at Sandals Ocho Rios in Jamaica.

Each guest will leave with a trend-focused goody bag valued at more than £150, including the olive oil and other treats described in the programme. The format gives attendees a preview of several editorial themes while leaving room to try, taste and discuss them along the way.

All tickets include entry into the prize draw. The prize is for two adults over 18 and includes return economy flights from London and seven nights’ all-inclusive accommodation in a lead-in suite at Sandals Jamaica Ocho Rios, subject to availability and blackout dates.
